Summary of Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities Primary duties include:

- Working in partnership with external wholesaler(s) to facilitate the marketing and sale of fixed and variable annuities through Bank, Wirehouses and Independent Broker / Dealer Channels

- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key firms and producers

- Increase business within the territory through proactive prospecting, marketing campaigns, appointment setting, follow-up calls, construction of product illustrations, etc.

- Communicating product offerings and details

- Developing and executing a territory-based business plan

- Excellent development program for advancement to External Wholesaler

 

Required Competencies:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Time management and organizational skills

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

- BS or BA degree strongly preferred

- Series 6 (or 7) & 63, CA Life & Health Insurance License preferred.
