General Job Summary

 

The Internal Sales Representative will use exceptional people skills, sales and analytical ability, along with drive and desire to sell via the phone by helping customers understand and fully appreciate the genuinely high value of services that are offered by Kelley Blue Book.  The Internal Sales Representative will also work with the outside field sales force to speed the closing cycle and implementation of new accounts.


The position is a very hands-on role that requires a very organized team player with 3-5 years client/account sales experience. Outstanding communication skills are a must and experience within the interactive industry is preferred. Telesales and Marketing agency experience a plus.  A winning attitude a must! Solid sales skills coupled with good interpersonal and communication focus are a winning combination for success in this position.

 

Job ResponsibilitiesGrow revenue & target new accounts within your prospect base Establish excellent relationships with dealership contact personnelSuccessfully manage a telesales prospect list.Growing account revenue by identifying various up-sell/cross-sell opportunities within existing clientsConstantly resell the benefits of Kelley Blue Book products and services against other competitive offerings

 

Required Skills, Attributes & EducationBS/BA from a 4 year University or equivalent work experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detailSolid negotiating skills and ability to develop and deliver effective presentationsExtensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Contact Management systemsHighly motivated, energy and the ability to perform with minimal supervision Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service Requires excellent listening skills and an ability to quickly assess and analyze the customer's issues and offer them an appropriate solution. Experience in a sales environment with a quota based goal. Need to reach 100% of quota on a regular basis.Ability to manage tasks on a tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects.History of meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals, maintaining and managing existing customer relationshipsBackground in Inside Sales, Customer Service, and or retention, with a focus on strong sales/negotiation skillsKnowledge of online marketing and interactive media or automotive dealership management
