International Sales Engineer

Sea Recovery Corporation, the world leading manufacturer in marine water purification, is seeking an International Sales Engineer.  Our office is in Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach area), California.

 

Job Title: International Sales Engineer

 

Summary:  Services existing trade, wholesale, customers and establishes new trade customers.  International travel can be up to 16 weeks, in one or two week increments, during the year.

 

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following:

? Research, evaluate, and qualify new trade accounts.

? Maintain and evaluate current trade accounts through support, training, and follow-up.

? Attend trade exhibitions and visit customer.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering from four-year college or university and minimum of 2 years experience in sales, or minimum 5 years in sales of industrial, commercial, or marine equipment.

 

? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.

 

? Ability to write reports and business correspondence in fluent English using Microsoft Word.

 

? Ability to read, write, or speak in multiple languages is a plus.

 

? Knowledge of and background in the marine industry is a plus.

 

? Knowledge of and background in international markets is a plus.

 

? Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 

? Salary range of $60k to $90k which is negotiable depending on experience and education.

 

? Additional annual earnings potential, up to $20K, with competitive commission and bonus plan.

 

? Position Type: Full-time, Salary/Exempt.

 

? Scheduled Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon-Fri; one-hour meal break.  Will be expected to work the necessary hours to fulfill the duties of this job.

? As a condition of employment, you will be required to submit to a pre-employment physical exam and drug test at Sea Recovery?s expense.
