Inventory Analyst

Inventory Analyst:

NATURE OF WORK PERFORMED
Support Product Management with business reporting, analysis, and process development to help them gain better insight into the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Inventory ? Own process, forecasting, records, reporting and analysis. Establish targets and track performance of Raw Materials, WIP, Die Bank and Finished Good inventory. Manage inventory to minimize obsolescence and keep in line with fiscal requirements. Responsible for inventory stratification and intimate knowledge of resulting fiscal reserve requirements.
? Provide Product Management with business reporting and analysis to help them gain better insight into their respective business operations (i.e.: analyzing trends in the market relating to price, margins, volume, regions, sectors, distribution channels and competition).
? Develop new processes and reporting and/or identify improvements on current processes and reporting to help streamline current reporting, analysis and data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS
? Expert PC skills essential. Expert user of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel essential.
? Factory planning and/or inventory experience. APICS training a plus.
? Excellent data analysis skills
? Excellent inter-personal skills and telephone manner
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Excellent organization skills
? Detail-oriented, self-starter with an ability to meet deadlines with little supervision

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
? BA (Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Finance) or equivalent work experience.
? 5 years previous experience in a global manufacturing environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
? None

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
? Excellent data analysis skills

REASONING ABILITY
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and make recommendations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
? APICS certification or some training is desired.
