Inventory Yield Sales Manager, Digital Media

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Inventory Yield Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue
on unsold inventory through effective optimization and distribution into
multiple channels with highest effective CPM's. Will work directly
with the Sales Operations and Marketing teams in NCBU Digital Media
Sales to ensure the most intimate details of systems and inventory are
provided. Reports to VP, Sales Operations NBCU Digital Media.

Work with existing (and new) third party ad networks and direct
marketers to build a portfolio of demand on available NBCU Digital Media
inventory large enough to create a marketplace where competitive bidding
for inventory will drive revenue per impression up.
Identify and develop partnerships with additional technology
providers who can enhance and build on the capabilities to drive
effective CPM's north through a competitive marketplace.
Analytical and understanding of metrics driven online
advertising.
Ability to manage a portfolio of CPC advertisers, pre-emptible
CPM advertisers and/or ad networks.
Manage, develop and oversee quality control, usage,
administration and analysis of unsold (by in house sales team)
inventory.
Develop and oversee the execution of tactical adjustment to ad
delivery priorities in order to ensure guarantees are met and highest
paying bidders for available inventory.
Will work with Marketing team to identify the optimal eCPM of
the available inventory where all media spends are profitable.
Will set targets and timelines to meet those projections.

Qualifications/Requirements:
2 years minimum experience in digital media advertising -
preferably with some basic sales or account management experience
Bachelors degree

Familiarity with ad serving systems. ( DoubleClick DART, Atlas,
etc.)
