Junior Sales Specialist – Enterprise Information – FGA Accounts


Lead sell and support existing revenue of Reuters Enterprise Content into Reuters FGA Accounts. Reuters Enterprise Division is growing rapidly and seeks to capture more market share by licensing its content ranging from Real Time Feeds, Corporate Actions, Reference Data and End of Data Security Evaluations.


Job Description:


This role will involve working with a senior specialist on a virtual team and lead-selling segment specific recurring revenue products including the Reuters DataScope Product line comprised of RDF and Reference Data and Pricing.  This role requires the championing and proactive leadership in promoting the segment offering, seeking & developing new business and driving competitive sales opportunities. You will work with existing FGA clients who have agreements in place to license DataScope and continue to generate sales and more market usage by providing the required domain expertise.


 


Responsibilities:
External Focus:


·  Pro-actively lead sales campaigns for new recurring-revenue products.


·  Work with central Enterprise Information to develop and execute sales strategies


·  Target enterprise-wide opportunities in existing customers.


·  Develop and maintain senior/management level client relationships


·  Provide domain expertise relative to the customer segment.


·  Work with the Marketing and Product Management teams to create, develop and implement "story board" concepts for clients to define proposed solutions.


·  Oversee client meetings to carry out product demonstrations and presentations with the objective of winning new business


·  Participate in the pre-launch of products and beta sites


Internal Focus:


· Research, recommend and lead sales campaigns to achieve increased product market penetration in FGA accounts


· Ensure the effective support of existing enterprise deals


· Work closely with the Core Segment team and Marketing to feed product ideas and provide client feedback.


· Educate and mentor team members on products, ideas and sales strategies.


· Maintain a 12-month rolling pipeline in excess of assigned quota, linking the segment forecast with the account management forecast.


· Maintain accurate customer contact and pipeline of opportunities in CRM.


Required Skills,  Knowledge and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree, sales acumen, and at least 4 years proven track record in client facing role with quantifiable results.  Prior experience working with major buy side institutions, hedge funds, investment banks and brokerage houses. Must have strong client relationships and a proven track record of providing a high level of customer service.


You should have a particular focus on Real Time DataFeeds, End of Day Datafeeds and Reference Data. Knowledge of various content licensing approaches and the use of proprietary data in downstream systems in the front, middle and back office is key.


Must have excellent knowledge of front and back office workflow in both the buy and sell side.  Must be proficient in and understand both the fixed income and equity markets.


Must have superior communication and negotiating skills and be a strong team player
