Junior Recruiter

Spherion’s Professional Services Group is looking for a highly motivated, Junior Recruiter/Researcher to join our growing Sales and Marketing division.

 

This position is unique as it does not require previous recruiting experience. You will get the opportunity to learn how to recruit and be successful in one of the fastest growing industries with a Fortune 1000 company and a nationally ranked prosperous office.

 

We are looking for an Entry Level Recruiter who is professional, sharp, detail oriented and thorough, with the willingness and drive to succeed in a deadline driven, high-energy environment.

 

This position is a TELEPHONE-INTENSIVE POSITION working the Sales and Marketing discipline in which you will be trained.  Most of the time is spent seeking out qualified candidates through various means. This position requires lots of phone work, networking events, and meetings with new people.

 

Requirements:

? Bachelors Degree

? Proficiency in MS office and ability to learn new software quickly

? Internet savvy- able to use all tools available to research and find information

? Ability to excel and be successful in a fast paced, multiple priority environment

? Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

? Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.

? Excellent communication skills with heavy customer service orientation

? Excellent customer service, communication and relationship building skills are essential.

? Must be able to cold call- it's ok if you have never done it, you just have to want to- we will train!

? High energy and initiative

 

Preferred, but not required:

? Previous experience in a sales or marketing environment

? Previous cold calling experience

 

The position will support the Senior Executive Recruiters in the following areas:

? Recruit, source, screen, qualify, evaluate and interview candidates for open positions.

? Direct recruit through cold calls, research, networking, etc.- hard to find candidates in the Sales and Marketing discipline.

? Identify ideal matches and present candidates for open positions.

? Represent and prepare candidates throughout the hiring process.

? Ensure job requisitions are filled in a timely manner

? Document and handle administrative details as it relates to the placement of candidates with client companies.

? Research and evaluate alternative and creative ways to source candidates for open positions.

? Build your network of professional contacts in the creative & marketing communications field by engaging in marketing and industry awareness efforts.

? Special Projects as needed.
