Key Account Manager - Managed Care

Responsibilities:
Be the managed care expert of the New England region. The successful candidate must have extensive managed care sales experience, have a superior attitude in managing the managed care sales process, and a thorough understanding how managed care organizations operate and make formulary decisions. Included in those responsibilities are to develop and cultivate relationships with key managed care accounts, pursue and close managed care contracting opportunities, develop and oversee managed care pull-through events to ensure our market share improves in those targeted MCO plans. Work closely with each member of the New England Heath Care Professional Sales Team and the New England Trade Manager (RAM) to ensure a coordinated effort to win and grow the Bayer business at the Key MCO's in New England. The successful canidate will know who are the key health plans within their territory, what is Bayer's status within those plans, and how to use that knowledge in gaining health care professional recommendation. Must also manage a few Mail-Order accounts and move the smaller accounts (< 5,000 units/yr) to either a DE or DW contract. Mail-Order will be less than 10% of your time. Education & Typical Experience:
Typical education would be a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Business with 6 - 10 yrs. experience.
