Key Account Sales Representative

We are currently recruiting for a Key Account Sales Representative. The position will conduct corporate sales calls and reviews with category directors and promotion analysts for multiple categories. Develop customer relationships with key corporate and divisional personnel. Manage and develop multiple product categories to achieve budgeted volume and net sales objectives. Develop effective promotional plans to meet volume and sales dollar objectives with account and marketing managers. Write up and present fact based sales presentations. Analyze and track promotional spending levels to promotional plans. Analyze volume positions on all items weekly and be prepared with proactive plans to grow business. Will constantly evaluation of market trends, and strategies to insure categories stay on track. Analyze external sales data (IRI & AC Nelson Data) Communicate information back to multiple internal groups to keep them informed of account issues and opportunities. Prepare accurate and timely paper work for account and internal groups. Work with brokers and merchandisers to execute corporate programs.

 

Requirements:

1)  BS/BA degree is required.

2)  Five plus years sales experience with consumer product and three-five years experience with IRI or AC Nelson data is preferred.

3)  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4)  Strong analytical background and strong computer skills.

5)  Regular market visits to resolve divisional issues, conduct store audits, and work with brokers or local merchandisers.

6)  Organization, planning, problem solving, and persistence are essential.

7)  Must be able to handle difficult and stressful situations simultaneously and efficiently and exhibit ability to work independently.

8)  Must have clean DMV.
