Role: Director of Sales, Large Group
Location: Memphis, TN

Assignment Capsule
The Director of Sales is accountable for obtaining the company's sales and retention goals for the large group market, the management of sales personnel and staff, development and maintenance of broker/agent relationships, and the planning and execution of sales/marketing strategies.

Ensure Humana Corporate and Commercial Sales Department continuity of management in the Division by practicing and encouraging leadership skills.

Develop and maintain broker/agent relationships by utilizing proficiency gained through wide experiences in group insurance/employee benefits, diverse human relation skills and adaptive problem solving.

Ensure corporate market goals are achieved by planning, developing and implementing sales/marketing strategies.

Provide sales, pricing and underwriting integrity by prescribing proposal, case submission and reporting processes and evaluations.

Bachelors degree or equivalent education

10 years in group sales with a proven sales record required; 3-5 plus years managing people required

TN Insurance License

Understanding of the competitive environment, including Humanas marketplace, industry, competition and regulatory environment, as well as understanding of how the components of Humanas business model (i.e. strategy, finances, operations) interrelate to make Humana competitive in the marketplace

You will be in the Commercial/Group Sales area under the direction of the Market President for the Memphis, TN Sales office
