Through cold calling, networking, building relationships in the community and marketing, this position sells customers on our product offerings and the benefits of obtaining their mortgage through CitiMortgage
First and foremost, the LC generates an ongoing book of business utilizing their sales capabilities by thoroughly penetrating their local market and producing a pipeline of prime loan originations.
Secondly, excellent interpersonal management skills are a must as the LC will lead our customers through the loan application process and all the proper documentation needed to process their loan file.
In addition, this position will act as an interface between our loan processors and the customer so we acquire all information and documentation necessary to ensure a timely closing of the customer's loan.
Finally, where applicable, the LC must be able to identify cross-selling opportunities within Citigroup.
This position is for the commissioned professional who is comfortable with their ability to be a high producer.
Two plus years of proven product sales capability is required (success in a commissioned environment preferred)
High School Diploma or GED required
FHA/VA & conventional loan experience is desired
Banking experience preferred
Cold calling experience is required for all sole-source positions
Self-starter who can work independently to identify sources of mortgage seekers, produce a book of business and secure mortgage loans
Ability to work as part of a team to grow the assigned branch/branches
Strong relationship development and management skills
Knowledge of the local communities is preferred
Bi-lingual skills may be necessary for some positions
