Life Sciences Marketing Manager

Deloitte Services LP?is currently searching for a Life Sciences Marketing Manager to work in partnership with the Regional Senior Marketing Manager and Industry Leader for Life Sciences & Health Care, and other regional and national marketing professionals. The successful candidate will provide strategic marketing, targeting and leadership expertise for the life sciences sector that will drive the firm's
business development and marketing objectives and will assist in development, planning and execution of marketing strategies and programs for the life sciences sector in the seven-state North Central Region. This position will be located in the North Central region with preference to the Indianapolis, Columbus, Cleveland or Cincinnati offices.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Act as the Lead Client Marketer to the Regional?Life Science?Leader and liaison for other client service professionals in the industry.
- Formulate an integrated marketing approach to drive sales efforts working? in conjunction with regional and national marketing leadership, business development leadership, client service professionals and marketing communications professionals.
- Track, monitor and evaluate marketing and sales activities and accomplishments and provide recommendations to senior marketing leadership.?
- In accordance with the defined strategic marketing goals and initiatives,
contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to enhance brand reputation, relationships with clients, and increase both revenue and market share for the firm's industry groups and service lines.?
- Design and execute events geared toward client education and prospective client acquisition including but not limited to conferences, seminars, and trade shows.?
- Implement and maintain regional elements of integrated national?life sciences?marketing budget.? Standardize marketing methods to ensure consistency and cost effectiveness.
- Focus on supporting specific regional state strategic accounts and driving specific cross-functional pursuit opportunities and RFP responses aligned with industry priorities and business objectives.
- Daily discretion in the coordination and development of marketing materials, programs and plans.
- Participate as part of the national?life science and health care?industry marketing team and the overall regional
marketing team.
- Marketing Manager will interface frequently with Partners from multiple offices as well as Industry Leaders, Service Line Leaders, Business Development Managers, other Marketing Managers, and Directors at national and regional levels.???

Qualifications and requirements include the following:?
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or sales
- Experience with?life science?industry segments a strong plus
- Degree in business, marketing, public relations or?communications
- Relevant advanced degree in business or?marketing a plus
- Experience managing teams in a professional services or large matrix companies
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and professional client service manner
- Superior Microsoft Office skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
- Project management experience
- Sound knowledge of marketing

- Ability to quickly develop relationships as a trusted advisor
