Local Account Manager - Sales

  Please Note: This individual should have prior experience targeting and acquiring commercial accounts. This is a mid-level position.

 

Come join the exciting Sales Team of Budget Truck Rental! We are the second largest truck rental system in North America, and are currently seeking a highly motivated, mid-level Local Sales Manager to work in the Miami, FL area. This position will be responsible for acquiring new and servicing existing commercial accounts within an assigned territory. Will establish accounts in accordance of Budget policies in the area of pricing, credit procedures, insurance and administration requirements.

 

This position will develop and execute sales plans by applying market knowledge of Budget Truck Rental’s competition and current market share. Will also generate local market revenue from assigned specialty segments such as Dealers, Referrals, and Call Centers.  The LSM will participate in trade shows, chamber of commerce functions and other local events in an effort to strengthen Budget Truck Rental’s relationship in the marketplace. Will complete all necessary paperwork such as monthly reports, competitive information sheets, contracts, business correspondence itineraries, customer complaints, call reports, etc.

Bachelor of Science degree
Must be bilingual
3+ years sales/marketing experience required
Effective communication skills
Excellent analytical, and negotiating skills to negotiate rates and services
Prior experience developing strategies and analyzing competitive environment required
Must be motivated, creative, and have a strong business acumen and ability to work independently
Excellent computer skills.
