EUROPEAN KITCHEN CABINETS

 

Our client is an Italian manufacturer of kitchen cabinets with a rapidly growing business in North America. We are searching the Managing Director for the new US corporate office to be based in Manhattan. The position will have P&L responsibility for the North American business.

Specific responsibilities are:Recommending strategies for growth in North America.Achieving sales and contribution objectives.Growing and managing the dealer and agents network.Creating opportunities for builders? sales. Supporting Corporate and dealers? marketing efforts. Hiring and management of personnel in the subsidiary.Managing administrative functions for the subsidiary.

 

The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics:Bachelor degree. Proven success at building sales of durable household goods such as furniture and appliances through a dealer network. Experience with imported design furniture and/or kitchen cabinets preferred.Demonstrated ability to form and lead a small team and carry out the executive. management responsibilities associated with the position.Experience managing relationships with European companies preferred.Knowledge of Italian language preferred.
