MDU Sales Representative
Description: Position Summary: Responsible for Support of all assigned MDU properties, and for building relationships with assigned property owners, managers and agents. Responsible for ensuring positive penetration growth in assigned properties.
Position Function:
1. Maintains and develops relationships with MDU owners, managers and agents, in representatives assigned territory, in support of the department goals.
2. Conducts regular visits to assigned MDU Territory. Assures offices are stocked with sales collateral and product information. Informs/Trains property owners/managers/agents of Cox products and services to enlist their promotion of Cox services to new and current tenants.
3. Drives constant positive penetration growth for Cox products, not limited to, but including Standard Service, Digital Cable, Digital Telephone and High Speed Internet.
4. Generates, organizes and provides product demonstrations and presentations at assigned properties.
5. Responsible for organizing marketing to assigned properties, including sending personalized marketing collateral themselves, and utilizing the Marketing Department to co-ordinate a target product/market and to send marketing collateral to their assigned properties.
6. Representative serves as coordinating contact for MDU owner/manager or agent regarding operational issues and resolutions.
7. Position will require consistent and daily travel to assigned properties throughout the Representatives assigned territory.
8. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of courtesy accounts present in representatives assigned properties.
9. Ensuring Agents or Managers are advised of opportunities to supply leads to Cox via email forms/faxed forms/calls etc… as well as their involvement of any Cox incentive programs (i.e. Cox Bucks) to promote sales of Cox services.
10. Representatives will provide daily logs of intended property visits on the evening preceding the days visits.
Qualifications:
Experience: Strong typing and computer (Excel, Word) skills required. Working knowledge of ICOMS, including Digital, Data and Telephony. Customer service and or sales experience required.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certificates/Licenses: Valid drivers license with good driving history.
Travel Requirements: Travel to Cox locations in New England for meetings or training as necessary. Travel to assigned MDU properties required.
Equipment: Computer: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience
