Management Trainee / Sales

Bisco Industries, Inc is one of the leading electronic component and fastener distributors in North America. We currently have 34 facilities in North America with the goal of opening many more facilities in the next five years.

We will train you in all aspects of Sales as well as in Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting and Warehousing so that you have an overall view of our business.



The Final Reward? You will be promoted to Sales Management in 12- 18 months and manage a team of three people.



In addition to an attractive salary, car allowance, bonuses and an expense account, we offer a $10,000 facility opening bonus to you once you open a new facility for us and meet some very minimal criteria.



Responsibilities:

Sales & Sales Support: Assist the Sales Team while also working directly with a select group of customers. We will teach you all aspects of sales in our industry including both inside and outside sales. Customer Relationships: Good relationships with our customers in a professional purchasing atmosphere. Servicing the Customer: Quotations, follow-up, orders and expediting. Supplier Relationships: Maintain good relationships with key suppliers and obtain price and delivery information. Management: Our Management Team will mentor you in territory & account planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, product and customer knowledge.Special Projects: Attend various management strategy meetings and work on interesting and challenging projects.

 

In addition, we offer you an overview of all departments in our company and our business operations

(2 weeks of training at our Corporate facility in Southern California as well as on the job training.)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor?s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher Extracurricular activities in school or College leadership positions a Plus! Good communications skills & problem solving abilities Must be relocatable
