Position: Manager Demand Planning Duration:  Direct Position Location:  Indianapolis

 EDUCATION 

Education: BS Degree in Business or related field with at least 5 years of related experience.  MBA preferred.  EXPERIENCE

 

Planning experience and strong system skills including experience in Microsoft Excel and Access. Demand Planner software such as Essbase and Business Objects knowledge helpful.  Requires excellent organization and analytical skills, high degree of initiative and problem solving is critical.  Ability to build strong working relationships with Sales force and to interact productively with all "Customers" is key to this role.  RESPONSIBILITIES

Position will interface with the Sales organization and A/V Marketing to manage the demand planning activity for the Audio/Video business.  Key element is accurately reporting monthly, quarterly and half sales estimates for the business on routine basis. Duties include but are not limited to; Manages forecasts and Customer support to ensure good business performance and maximum Customer fulfillment. Proper execution of supply chain tools to increase forecast accuracy along with key account sell through and inventory observance.  Manages Customer fill rates, accelerating sales revenues and reduction of finished goods inventory.  Position will also focus on processes required to improve communication to our Customers, both internal and external.
