The Marketing Manager position is a critical position to the CE Marketing Organization. This particular position will be working with both Circuit City & Crutchfield. The position is based in Richmond to foster better communication and guidance with the accounts and the Sales Director.

Job Responsibilities and Activities:
1. Support retail distribution with marketing programs, events, advertising, promotions and training efforts.
2. Manage comprehensive marketing plans, including budget to support sales and revenue objectives of channel and monitor impact and performance of promotional campaigns
i. Assist in company initiatives and work cross-functionally in implementing those initiatives.
3. Handle all promotions, event marketing, advertising and in-store merchandising with retail accounts
i. Promotions ? Create and execute specific channel promotions and campaigns; work directly with accounts through campaign to ensure success
ii. Event Marketing ? Execute events and promotions, which highlight the Sirius experience and stimulate consumer interest. Develop marketing messages, POP and other campaign related materials to support events. Facilitate booth staffing
iii. Advertising ? Maximize all advertising opportunities to affect copy, brand positioning and brand awareness. Coordinate design of advertising materials, approvals, kit fulfillment for final point of sale elements
iv. Merchandising ? Explore new merchandising signage opportunities in-store and oversee timely communications of POP distribution. Work closely with account on the planning development of new/ revised in-store displays including back-end fulfillment.
4. Meet with accounts on a frequent basis to ensure account?s marketing needs are addressed and programs are executed effectively.
5. Maintain channel budget for campaigns, promotions, premiums and special events.
6. Work with Retail Marketing Services on development and fulfillment of all channel specific POS and channel specific messaging
7. Monitor competitor?s developments and industry market trends.
8. Analyze customer?s weekly sales to identify both short and long term trends.
9. Perform weekly sales & forecast meetings.
10. Plan and monitor weekly advertising, rotation and sales lift.
11. Manage Vendor Performance Management to increase supply chain metrics performance.

Professional Qualifications:
Understanding of car audio and/or subscription based businesses
4 to 8 years experience in marketing including a minimum of three years experience in channel marketing, programs or management.
Extensive experience in CE channel (manufacturer or service provider)
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Individual contributor.
Demonstrated ability working with a field sales organization and cross-functional teams on both a strategic and tactical level.
Excellent organization, time management, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
