Manager, Regional Sales West Coast Territory

Position Description: Coordinate branch and corporate resources to develop and implement successful sales programs and initiatives. Work with the sales leaders in each market to drive sales results resulting in increased market revenue and contribution. This includes business development (development of new prospects and converting them into customers) and business retention (increasing market share at customer and conducting business reviews). Coordinate branch and corporate resources to develop responses to RFPs (request for proposal), presentations and account business reviews. Effectively manage the Kelly sales strategy including time and territory management in order to achieve the desired performance results.
Develop solid strategic sales plans and assess the needs of each customer. Customize sales presentation to demonstrate how Kelly can meet those needs. Monitor changing market conditions and competitor activities and develop appropriate action plans in order to increase business.
Individual can either be field based on the West Coast or based at the Corporate HQ in Troy, MI.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
BA or BS in Business or related field or equivalent experience. 5-7 years previous business-to-business sales experience strongly preferred. Previous field experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated strategic/concept selling to top executives. Good communication (both verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent computer application skills. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize, good judgement, and leadership skills.
