Manager, Sales Support

Sage Software has an immediate opening for a Manager, Sales Support. The candidate selected will manage the sales operations department which is responsible for ensuring that smooth processes and procedures are in place to maximize the efficiency of the sales department. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Recruits, interviews, hires and trains sales operations personnel

? Interfaces with IS, customer support, product management, and facilities management for sales and customer service

? Determines work procedures and expedites workflow for Sales

? Provides sales reporting by interfacing with IS and Sales Information or through direct access to AS400

? Builds and maintains customer reference database

? Processes coop and MDF requests from Business Partners

? Places orders for Business Partners

? Provides general non-sales support for Business Partners

? Assists with trade show coordination, BP council meetings, road show planning, and communication with partners

? Builds lead campaigns for sales

? Coordinates with marketing to ensure proper lead flow to marketing reps

? First line of support for sales for the daily use of AS400 systems

? Ensures AS400 processes support sales: product codes are correct, current pricing is available, etc.

? Assists in the smooth transition of changes to AS400

? Trains sales reps on AS400 processes, NetRep, Fortune Hunter, Mindarrow

? Coordinates the reliable performance of the phone systems

? Provides answers relating to customer questions, billing, support, pricing, shipping of product and other matters affecting customer accounts

? Coordinates with Compensation Analyst to get commissions calculated and paid

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Education, skills and/or Experience:
College degree or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of Sales/Customer Service experience
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a Sales Operations environment
Crystal Report writing experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of AS400
Proven ability to write/run AS400 queries
Experience reviewing back-end data in the AS400
