Manager of Retail Credit - Underwriting

We are currently seeking a Manager of Retail Credit - Underwriting for our Retail Underwriting area.  This position will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of Retail Credit department and ensuring volume and quality of work produced meets company standards.  This position will assist the Director and work with the other managers of Retail Credit in the development of a business plan and benchmark goals.

 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, coaching, conflict resolution and conducting performance reviews for staff.Assisting Team Leaders in analysis of more complex Consumer Credit Bureaus and credit approval for retail loans.Meetings and special projects as assigned by management. Interacting with dealers regarding special consideration of loans.Development of presentations and reports. Monitoring of new programs, department policies and implementation of action plans. Building and maintaining industry relations.

 

A successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor?s degree in Business or a related field; a minimum of three years experience in retail lending or customer service; and at least one year of management experience.  Experience with Daybreak or equivalent automated financial services system is required.  Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and work independently are necessary for success in this position.
