We are ICI Paints, and we manufacture some of the finest brands of paints, packaging coatings, caulks, and adhesives in the world, including Glidden?, Ultra-Hide?, Dulux?, Sinclair?, Devoe Coatings?, Devoe Paint?, Liquid Nails?, Ralph Lauren?, Fuller O?Brien?, Klinks?, etc.

Currently, we are seeking Marine Coatings Representatives who will be responsible for increasing Devoe sales within an assigned geographic area, increasing gross margin and contribution, monitoring competition, and servicing customers.

Responsibilities:

- Aggressively identify, evaluate, develop and close new business opportunities, develop long-term client relationships, develop and sell sales proposals, and conduct other related sales activities
- Utilize solution-selling skills to create new visions for prospects that result in additional opportunities within ICI Paints' current customers and new customers
- Drive new business from prospecting through closing and implementation.
- Expand existing business through client relationship management
- Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans in support of business opportunities
- Work closely with operations and management to ensure the best possible service to the client
- Provide exceptional customer service to professional contractors

Requirements:

-NACE 3 certification or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 5 years of Marine technical sales experience
-Bachelor?s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
-Must be physically fit and groomed to meet all OSHA regulated requirements for respirator fitting, supplied air, and confined space entry.
- Proven self-starters with a competitive drive for results to seek out new opportunities by understanding customer needs and selling solutions that provide value to our customers
- Ability to understand and identify competitor?s and customer?s strengths and weaknesses
- Ability to effectively articulate ICI Paint?s competitive advantage and value proposition to the customer
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
- Excellent cold-calling and account penetration skills
- Exceptional dedication to customer service
- Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience in public speaking
- Top-notch interpersonal and relationship development skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels
- Strong PC skills
- Self-motivated, goal-directed, innovative, results-oriented individual with a desire to work in a pay-for-performance driven culture.
