Marketing Analyst

Ryder’s Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) business segment combines several capabilities into a comprehensive package that provides one-stop outsourcing of the acquisition, maintenance, management and disposal of vehicles.  Ryder?s commercial rental service offers customers a method to expand their fleets in order to address specific or short-term capacity needs.

 

Ryder is seeking a Marketing Analyst who will create and manage marketing campaigns that will generate new sales for Ryder within identified industry segments:

? Target audience definition and prospect segmentation analysis within identified industry; including creation and management of industry specific database

? Develop and manage lead generation programs for identified segments

? Develop and manage marketing calendar of programs and events for identified industry

? Coordinate and attend industry trade shows and events

?  Support personal selling efforts of Industry Sales VP

?  Develop, communicate and manage execution of industry programs on a national basis leveraging regional FMC?s for execution

? Develop content expertise on industry trends and provide sales force with information and training tools that assist in selling efforts 

? Continue to refine and improve the articulation of Ryder?s value proposition within the industry

? Measure progress (sales, penetration) year over year

In addition to industry specific marketing, this role will

? Support area sales management and sales teams through the development and execution of lead generation programs for prospects; support retention programs for customers, and function as field sales trainers for marketing tools and programs within an identified geographic area

? Assist in the development and training of new field marketing coordinators

? Execute national marketing programs in your area

? Work with FMC team and Group Director to develop national programs

? Tailor programs to your area as dictated by unique requirements

? Develop and maintain marketing calendar of activities and events

? Develop and implement area specific direct marketing programs designed to generate quality sales leads as needed

? Ensure field sales personnel understand and utilize the marketing tools available to them

? Ensure maximum participation by area sales teams for all marketing programs.

? Act as the primary marketing liaison for DOS?s, BDM?s, CDM?s

? Monitor timely lead follow up from both national and regional programs

? Ensure the integrity of the corporate database and corporate sales support systems

? Provide analytical support (industry, territory analysis, mapping) as required

? Monitor sales personnel pipelines and sales results and adjust marketing support as necessary; providing additional support to those below goal

? Measure lead generation, pipeline and ROI impact of marketing programs and provide status reports on a monthly basis

? Analyze results and make recommendations for changes or enhancements based on findings

? Keep updated list of sales force changes and notify Marketing Manager of Sales Operations of updates required

? Provide monthly status reporting

 

Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:

 

? 4-year college degree with focus in marketing or 2+ years marketing experience

? Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

? Other characteristics include good written and oral communication skills, high energy, ability to work on teams, strong work ethic and drive for increased responsibility

? Experience in leasing or transportation industry a plus
