About The Position:

Sales Professional/Account Executive

This is mainly a hunter sales position (80% hunting, 20% account management).

Target markets:

Two main target markets, Industrial Facilities and Commercial Facilities

Target prospects:

Industrial market ? facility engineers, facility managers, and maintenance engineers, the person responsible for the mechanical systems within the plant facility.

Commercial market ? commercial property managers, on-site facility managers, and building engineers, the person responsible for the mechanical systems with the building(s)

Responsibilities:

?  Develop relationships with decision maker(s) to create opportunities for Knopke Company to provide day-to-day service, equipment replacement, equipment installation, design-build and consulting services, for the mechanical systems.

?  Ensure that all sales activities are performed in accordance with company practices through the effective use of time management.

?  Support the sales manager in the development of objectives and strategies for business development.

?  Perform research and make client contact to identify and prioritize potential customers.

?  Prepare and implement business development action plans for targeted customers.

?  Develop and prepare estimates, proposals and presentations.

?  Attend meetings as necessary with current and future customers to ensure healthy relationships and/or successful business development.

?  Attend company meetings and/or sales meetings as required. Perform additional assignments as requested by the sales manager.

The ability to build quick, strong alliances and business relationships with personnel at all levels in the organizations on which you'll be calling. The demonstrated tendency and predisposition to both work hard and play hard. Five year's sales experience, at a minimum, as a top-notch salesperson involving some type of technical, value-added sale (Ex: pumps, motors, chemicals, controllers, monitoring equipment, instrumentation, heat exchangers, electronics, HVAC, remediation, construction services, additives, lubricants, boilers, process machinery, etc.).
