Medical Devices Sales Representative

Our client, the medical devices division of a Fortune 500 full line healthcare manufacturer, has asked us to locate a new sales associate to work with their local sales representative and learn to sell their medical/surgical devices to surgeons and operating room personnel at hospitals in the Kansas City and Overland Park, Kansas area. This is a training position for 6 to 9 months, after which relocation within the region for a permanent assignment as a territorial sales representative will be required.

The candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and 1-2 years of Business-to-Business, Capital Equipment or other commission-based, direct sales experience, with a successful track record as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. In addition, completion of a good formative training program is highly preferred. Medical/Surgical sales experience is helpful, but not required. Ability to relocate within the region after 6 to 9 months of training is mandatory.

The successful candidate can expect to earn $90K the first year, based on a starting salary of $45K plus commission on sales that will add $45K at goal. Second year income will be even higher based on your personal performance in a full sales territory.
