Medical Gas Sales Representative - Greensboro

LifeGas, an industry leader serving the medical gas market since 1986, provides a complete line of medical gases and gas delivery equipment to top manufacturers across the country.  We are currently looking for a Medical Gas Sales Representative to serve our Greensboro territory.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 Sells Company products by identifying customers? need(s) and partnering with customer.  Coordinates delivery of sold product(s) and continuing support after the sale.  Negotiates pricing of items with customer, assesses payment ability, and arranges for collection of monies when necessary.Maintains file of customer prospects, and establishes regular communication channels to obtain prospective customer?s business using selling techniques in order to attain new customer quota and revenue objectives.  Maintains regular communications with current customers to increase Company?s provided services to customer and to increase sales volumes to attain established revenue quotas.Provides assistance to customers by demonstrating various gas equipment and answering questions relating to the operation and maintenance of equipment.  Assists in developing applications solutions as necessary.Maintains professional growth by participating on teams and in educational programs and activities to maintain knowledge of national trends and to promote leading-edge expertise within the Company.Performs other duties as assigned.Up to 50% travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 Bachelor?s degree in Marketing and/or Sales plus a minimum of one (1) year sales experience in the medical gas industry, or related territory sales experience; OREquivalent work experience plus a minimum of four (4) years sales experience in the medical gas industry, or related territory sales experienceMay be required to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 100 poundsClear and effective written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated knowledge of the Company?s mission, goals, and objectives and how those relate to the competitive market and industry trends.
