Medical Sales Rep - Spinal Systems, Implants
Oklahoma based medical products Distributor seeks qualified and motivated Arkansas based, independent medical sales reps.. Products include surgical spine implants from K2M and various allograft tissues.
Important in-roads in to the Arkansas spine market can be made with successful sales of K2M spinal systems - some of which are new, "revolutionary" and expected to be of very high interest to surgeons, spine hospitals and specialty surgery centers. Hard work and patience will be required to be successful, but the effort can be highly rewarding.
KEY Requirements: The independent sales rep should meet the following criteria.....
Have current, good working relationships with local Arkansas spine surgeons,Spinal systems knowledge - with spinal systems sales experience preferred, Extensive OR (operating room) experience,Knowledgeable of surgeon and hospital buying procedures, andBe willing to accept a 100% commission sales position.
General Job Description:
Job Purpose:
Serves the medical community, surgeon, hospital and surgical center by introducing and selling products; meeting the surgeon needs.
Duties:
* Services existing accounts / doctors, obtains orders, actively participates in spine surgery cases, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential surgeon / hospital sales opportunities.
* Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential surgeons and hospitals.
* Keeps Distributor management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
* Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
* Resolves doctors and facilities? complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational and training classes, in service activities; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and surgeon / hospital sales.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Surgeon and Hospital (Customer) Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, OR Experience and Skills, Presentation Skills, Strong Doctor and Hospital Admin Relationships, Motivation for Sales.
The position is a 100% commission sales position. There is no base salary, employee insurance, or other such benefit being offered with the position. The sales rep is considered an independent entity. The position can be highly lucrative for the right sales rep, one with existing spine surgeon relationships, spinal systems knowledge, and strong spine community / hospital contacts.
