Medical Sales Specialist - NYC
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the sale of all Blood Gas Systems and related products primarily to the hospital market in the New York City, Long Island, NY geographic region. Primary responsibilities include the ability to plan, develop and implement long-term and short-term sales plans for new and existing Rapid Testing products for key Bayer customers, as well as, developing synergistic business opportunities with Account Managers in all defined preferred customer locations. Position includes responsibility for attaining established sales and profit objectives for the territory through the implementation of new systems, the revenue growth of existing systems and the retention of current accounts.
Skills:
A Bachelor's Degree is required along with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible Diagnostic Sales experience. In addition, a broad knowledge of the Diagnostic industry and the decision drivers within Healthcare industry is required. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills are essential, along with exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient computer skills to include Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.
Education & Typical Experience:
Typical education would be a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Business Administration, Respiratory Therapy, Life Sciences with 3 - 6 yrs. experience.
