MEDICARE SALES

This position will perform sales and marketing tasks associated with obtaining new members in the OneCare program by making community presentations, outbound marketing calls, and home and facility visits. Conducting member orientations as well as educational sessions for providers and community-based organizations regarding CalOptima?s services for members within these populations. Performing outreach activites and cultural events/ fairs within Orange County in conjunction with the sales and marketing department.

 

This position requires knowledge of the challenges members with special needs (seniors, disabled, etc) would encounter, as well as knowledge of the principles and practices of health care service delivery, managed care, and Medi-Cal/CalOptima eligibility and benefits. Knowledge of Medicare eligibility and benefits preferred.

 

The OneCare Partner Sales Rep should have 1-2 years experience selling health benefits to the senior population. HMO, Medi-Cal/Medicaid and health services experience preferred. Bachelor?s degree preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish required. Driver?s license and vehicle or other approved means of transportation is required for some assignments.
