Medicare Sales Representatives

 

We are a fast-growing health care company with Medicare Advantage health plans in multiple states.  Because of our strong growth and the development of new product lines, we are recruiting for Medicare Sales Representatives in Duval and Clay counties.

 

PURPOSE OF JOB:

 

The Medicare Sales Representative is responsible for meeting the monthly enrollment goals set by the Area Specific Sales Manager. Goals will be met by following up on leads, telemarketing, teleselling, selling directly to Medicare beneficiaries in their homes and at seminars, and self-generating leads.

 

JOB COMPONENTS:

 

1.  Meet and exceed monthly sales goals

2.  Promote the attendance of prospective members at enrollment seminars.

3.  Present to, follow-up and sell Medicare beneficiaries on a direct sales basis.

4.  Properly track all sales prospects

5.  Complete daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.

6.  Must be able to present plan in clear, concise language to small and large groups.

7.  Must have superior closing skills.

8.  Must know and adhere to CMS compliance regulations.

9.  Excellent communication skills with brokers, medical professionals, community leaders, and advocates of seniors.

10. Must be honest, forthright, and sensitive to those in the senior market including dual eligibles.

11. Must be able to work well with various internal departments and other employees.

12. Must be able to work and produce sales in a non-structured and unsupervised environment.

13. Must care about the well being of members and fellow employees.

14. Experienced in telemarking and telesales.

15. Ability to self-generate leads.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.  Must be licensed by the state of Florida to sell health insurance and be current with Continuing Education credits.

2.  Minimum two (2) years experience selling a Medicare Advantage HMO product.

3.  Some college preferred.

4.  Strong organizational and time management skills;

5.  Excellent written/verbal and group presentation communication skills.

6.  Two years experienced in telemarketing and telesales lead generation.

7.  Competent computer/PC skills, including MS Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and lead management software.

8.  Bilingual English/Spanish greatly preferred.
