Membership Director

Lake Las Vegas Resort is a premier residential and resort destination situated on a privately owned 320-acre lake located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip.  Within the 3,592-acre master planned resort are exquisite residential offerings; including custom home sites, waterfront and golf villas, resort condominiums and luxury executive homes. The Mediterranean-inspired destination also features world-class resorts and award winning golf courses.

In 2003, Lake Las Vegas Resort enhanced its luxury destination living experience with the introduction of The Club at Lake Las Vegas, a comprehensive Resort Membership program that offers a variety of incentives for property owners.  This exclusive membership opportunity is a unique combination of golf course and access to the best in luxury living.  Members of The Club at Lake Las Vegas currently enjoy privileges at two world-class resort golf courses, Reflection Bay and The Falls with a third course designed by Tom Fazio being added by 2008.  A host of other amenities are included in the membership program, including personalize Member Concierge Service, access to the private SouthShore Yacht and Beach Clubhouse for its pool, tennis courts, white sand beaches and its state of the art fitness facility.  Members also receive special privileges and preferred pricing throughout the resort for restaurant dining, yacht and boat rentals at the full service Marina, specialty Village shops, and spa treatments at the Hyatt Regency and The Ritz-Carton, Lake Las Vegas.  The Club offers two categories of membership:  The Gold Membership allows unlimited golf with no greens fees and includes a $60,000 membership deposit and $550 per month dues and additional cart fees; The Club?s Silver Membership offers preferred greens fees and allows limited play during the season and unlimited play during the off-season for a $21,000 membership deposit and $235 per month dues.  With over 7,000 ultimate residential units in the Lake Las Vegas Resort master plan, the Club is expected to grow to over 4,000 total members.

 

Position:  Membership Director

 

General Statement:

Responsible for the sales and marketing of all memberships, new and resale, offered by The Club at Lake Las Vegas. This position also will assist in developing and offering a variety of events, programs, products and services to the members of The Club at Lake Las Vegas.  This position is responsible for managing the communications and activities departments and correspondence with members of the Club as well as member relations and resolution of member concerns.  This position is also responsible for managing Club relations with Guest Builders and their sales teams at Lake Las Vegas. This person?s role is to focus on generating revenues from sale of memberships.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

?  Create Annual Marketing Plan and Budget for Sale of Memberships

?  Report Monthly Results from Membership Sales

?  Manage Relations and Train Guest Builder?s Sales Teams With Regard to the Club Programs

?  Develop Membership Collateral

?  Conduct and Administer New Member Orientations

?  Administer and Maintain Membership Files both written and in ACT Database

?  Administer member surveys and solicit member input relating to ongoing club programming, club events and activities and member satisfaction 

?  Administer the Annual Member Amenity Program Including Collateral

?  Manage Club Services & Communications Manager and member communications including member website

?  Manage the Activities Coordinator and the Club Activities Calendar including the creation of a wide variety of social, cultural and recreational activities and events for Club members 

?  Recruit, Train, and Manage Membership Sales Personnel and Staff

?  Work Closely with the Other Resort Marketing Teams to Integrate and Leverage Programs and Resources Wherever Possible

?  Work closely with other Club and Resort Executives to On Programming Development To Maximize Revenues and Efficiencies for the Club and Other Resort Activities

?  Work closely with Resort Executives To Insure Club Programming and Services Are Consistent With Other High-End Club Operations In the Country And Consistent With Member Expectations 

?  Administer and Sell The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas Spa Membership Program

?  Administer and Sell The Marina Slip/Harbor Club Program

?  Promote and Attend Member Events and Activities

?  Work Closely with Management to Resolve Member Concerns and Complaints

?  Work Closely with Departmental Managers On Staff Training and Orientation With Regard To The Club Program and Member Services

 

Experience and Qualifications:

?  5-7 years of experience as Membership Director for a private country club or resort club program

?  Preferred managerial experience

?  Candidate must posses strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and CRM sales software (ACT or sales logic)

?  Bachelor?s degree preferred

?  Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required

?  Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired
