POSITION OVERVIEW:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce seeks a Membership Director in the Dallas office to handle renewal memberships and fundraising through inside sales calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solicit annual membership dues renewals, including follow-up on invoices and billing; persuade members to contribute funds to the Chamber?s special funding projects; and position the Chamber as the premier advocate for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and free enterprise in the nation?s capitol.

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience in telesales and/or inside fundraising experience in a team environment; strong prospecting skills with a professional phone demeanor; ability to make a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day; self-starter with persistence to overcome rejection; knowledge of the selling process and the sales life cycle; top-notch customer service skills; and proficiency with MS Word and basic database functions. Bachelor?s degree preferred. 30K base plus commission.
