Merchandising Sales Representative - Inside Sales & Sourcing

Job Description:

The primary objective of our Merchandising Sales Representative is to proactively increase merchandise sales revenue for the district.  In this position you will obtain new customer accounts and service existing accounts for an assigned district or defined sales territory.  You may also implement the district merchandise business plan and seek out new markets and opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. Note: This position is for government industrial/contractor supplies sales.  It is an inside sales position that is primarily sourcing.

 

Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of Merchandise Sales experience, preferably in the construction supply industry.  All candidates will need to be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and must be willing and able to tie and winch down equipment, unload equipment and restock shelves. Previous experience servicing national accounts is helpful and you must also be PC proficient, particularly with all Microsoft applications.
