Multi-Family Mrkting/Sales Rep

Description: PURPOSE OF POSITION: The purpose of this position is to generate and retain revenue through the introduction and marketing of Cox services to MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) properties by establishing long-term relationships with on-site management and by educating on-site management in the sales and marketing of Cox services to residents. Under general supervision, the Multi-Family Marketing & Sales Rep shall be responsible for the implementation of programs and strategies developed by the department that will maximize the market penetration of Cox services in MDU properties. Performs related work as required.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

This position reports to the Manager of Multi-Family Access & Sales or similar. No positions report to the Multi-Family Marketing & Sales Rep.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Administers marketing agreements between Cox and MDU properties to provide video, voice, and data service as relevant to residents of the MDU property.
Develops and implements programs to increase penetration of Cox services on MDU properties through the use of Cox marketing agreements and on-site management.
Acquires and analyzes relevant information for the development, marketing, and implementation of various proposals and business plans for the targeted customer base.
Makes sales calls and prepares and presents proposals to MDU owners, developers, and/or managers.
Prepares documentation to facilitate order entry, contracts, billing, and maintenance records and assists in the coordination of installation, maintenance, and billing of the services provided.
Prepares training manuals and seminars for the purpose of training on-site management and leasing agents in the marketing and sales of Cox services to residents.
Assists in the development of sales and marketing materials designed to meet the needs of on-site management and leasing agents.
Investigates and reports on competing providers' activities, offers, and strategies.
Regularly visits and/or calls on-site managers of properties to update, educate, and maintain positive, professional relationships.
Holds community events on a regular basis at assigned properties.
Performs other related duties as required.
Meets or exceeds sales goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree preferred
Three (3) years experience in one or more of the following: sales training and/or management, telecommunications business development, or residential property management and/or leasing.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, training, and motivational skills.
PC knowledge, proficient in Excel and Word.
