Our client, a worldwide petrochemical company, is searching for a Northeast Account Manager to lead sales, distribution and applications development efforts associated with their high performance engineering resin known for dimensional stability and resistance to corrosive and high-temperature environments. The product is recognized as a lightweight alternative to metal and a premier product for plastic components in demanding automotive, electrical, appliance and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate has an engineering or business degree and knowledge of the plastics industry, plastic processing, and especially high performance plastics. The person will have basic design and engineering ability and be able to communicate with internal resources. Previous sales management experience is preferred.

The Northeast Account Manager will work out of a home office and cover a territory that includes New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. The person must be willing to travel within the assigned territory and outside the territory as needed. Overnight travel will be required. The successful candidate will probably reside in Philadelphia, Baltimore, or New Jersey.
