SUMMARY
Responsible for maximizing sales, profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned National Account ProDealer outlets. Duties include but are not limited to: providing sales support for inside and outside sales associates; in-store training, developing and maintaining key account relationships; actively participating in special store events such as new store grand openings, contractor events and other related promotional activities point of purchase display and merchandising maintenance. Position requires the individual to work and reside in an assigned market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the identification, development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures that support total customer satisfaction, both internally and externally, where applicable in relation to this position.

Directly responsible for identifying and selling to ProDealer accounts to generate incremental sales volume while optimizing the number of accounts and points of sale in support of the corporate growth objective.

Responsible for developing and managing the process for providing effective, timely sales promotions to maximize ProDealer sales. Responsible for world-class field training and P.O.P. merchandising/display systems.

The position requires previous sales experience and/or a background in building materials or retail preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be available to work evenings and weekends when required. Due to display installation and maintenance, inventory sets, product handling, etc., must be able to lift 45 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Word and Excel.
