National Marketing Manager (Job #1007)

Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities

Operate in a business development capacity to identify and specify new XM product platforms for integration of XM receiver technologies
Work with XM?s Florida Innovation Center to bring new product platforms to market. Work with outside firms to develop new products. These firms may include CE brands, industrial design consultants, software contractors, prototyping firms and contract manufacturers
Manage relationships with XM?s brand name partners to expand the presence of XM in their product development and marketing efforts. Activities include reviewing product design, defining and executing on business strategy, coordinating marketing and promotional activities
Develop and execute business plan for each product. This includes forecast, merchandising strategy, product development, distribution strategy, outreach strategy, trade shows/event calendar and budget
Position requires national travel and weekend hours to meet accounts and attend events
Other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no fixed supervisory responsibilities

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of five years defining and managing the development and marketing of consumer electronics products
Results oriented ?doer? with significant project management experience
Contract negotiation experience
Collaborative, team leader with proven ability to coordinate activities among many different functional groups in a highly matrixed structure
BA or BS in Marketing; MBA highly desirable
