National Sales Account Coordinator

 

School Zone Publishing develops and publishes educational materials and products based on national educational standards.  We have been a leading educational publisher since early 70?s and we are seeking a Sales Account Coordinator ? National to add to our successful team.

 

Summary

Coordinates the needs of national accounts with the various departments within School Zone through the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

*Provide support for national purchasing teams by managing sales information, forecasting, shipping and compliance issues. 

 

*Coordinate communication between sales, administration, operations and logistics departments for national accounts.

 

*Analyze and report on product performance at national retailers and shipped sales information.

 

*Monitor, forecast and react to inventory trends and purchase patterns at national retailers.

 

*Recommend replacement of slow performing products and participate in all planogram changes.

 

*Implement Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) theories into account management.

 

*Perform Co-Managed Duties for Sam?s Club Software.

 

*Prepare budgets and forecasts based on defined goals.

 

*Generate promotional orders for national retailers.

 

*Prepare sales presentations.

 

*Attend key appointments for national retailers.

 

*Submit new item set up information for national retailers.

 

*Perform onsite administrator duties for Wal-Mart Retail Link online database.

 

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience.  Three to five years progressively more responsible experience with Retail Point of Sale programs preferably Retail Link, Partners Online, VendorNet, and Sam?s/WMT Co-Managed programs.
