New Account Sales Representative - software & services

Job Description


The QAD New Account Sales Representative for RCM Technologies will be challenged to generate new account ERP software sales in the upper Midwestern states to companies with annual sales revenue up to $250 million.  The target customers are manufacturers in the Automotive, Consumer Product, Food and Beverage, Industrial or Electronics industries.  The ideal candidate will live in the Detroit metro area and will cover a territory that includes several of the upper Midwestern and Northeastern states.  Some travel will be required and income will be based on individual performance.

 

The key to success in this position will be prospecting, lead generation, effective qualifying, closing, and the effective management of a team sales effort of QAD software, MFG/PRO, and services to new accounts prospects. 

 

Job Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in an ERP software or service company for products such as QAD (MFG/PRO), JD Edwards, Fourth Shift, Symix, or an equivalent is MANDATORYA successful track record of sales  Outstanding communication skills and high level of computer proficiencyA basic understanding of manufacturing in the vertical markets highlighted above, with a strong preference for a candidate with automotive expertise.Experience in a team sales environmentUnderstanding of a solution sales approach
