Job Summary:

To promote and sell BEA sensor products, packages and accessories to pedestrian and industrial distributor accounts within assigned region. To maintain and ensure a high-level of customer service and satisfaction through telephone and face-to-face contact.

 

Job Description:Increase and/or maintain sales volume within assigned region according to sales goals as outlined at the beginning of each financial year with the support of the inside Regional Sales Associate.Visit a minimum of 200 accounts in a 12-month period with the help and guidance of the Regional Sales Associate.Organize and coordinate sales presentations/seminars with distributors for the purpose of educating distributor sales people and/or service technicians.Handle any customer inquiry or technical question by phone when necessary with the help of Technical support when needed.Accurately report and maintain all sales activity through the use of the sales database system.Provide quarterly sales reports submitted to the Director of Outside Sales as requested. Submit all business expenses to Director of Outside Sales in a timely manner.Arrange business travel and 4 yearly customer visits to BEA headquarters through Corporate Administrator.Participate in all company product-training seminars.Participate in ?box lunch? presentations when necessary.Participate in trade shows when necessary.Service, maintain, and develop ?non-adversarial? relationships with Industrial OEM?s located in assigned territory.

 

(Sales Territory: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.)

 

Job Qualifications: Two to Five years Sales Experience.Must have a Bachelor?s Degree.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Strong Organizational Skills.Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications and databases.Ability to manage expenses within company guidelines.Willingness to travel 50% of time (including weekends when necessary).
