OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY

Position opened for commissioned Outside Sales Representative in the following territory: Northwest (Oregon/Washington).

 

Successful Manufacturers? Independent Rep Firm seeks ambitious hard working individuals with excellent work ethics, honesty, high integrity and willing to commit the time necessary to grow and develop existing business as well as new accounts.  Individual

must be goal oriented, can multi-task, possess effective communication skills, have the ability to learn at a quick rate, a pleasant personality and the desire to sell.  Travel will be a must and overnight travel will be required. Must be able to work independently and have the desire to become a dynamic member of a professional sales team. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in outside sales calling on the building materials, hardware/home center, lumberyard retail, paint retail/wholesale, plumbing wholesale, roofing wholesale and/or construction supply industries.  Individual must reside in the Western Washington area. Requires a minimum of an Associate?s of Arts Degree.

 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to territory sales calls/planning, forecasting, hold product knowledge classes, develop new programs for accounts, merchandise stores, build strong relationships with all customers and grow all accounts at a minimum of twenty percent or more annually.
