Join a Fortune 200 company and show off your best qualities. Waste Management?s Indiana Market Area immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative in the Northwest Indiana Area.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory. This position is also responsible for securing and maintaining service agreements. This position also is responsible for:Effectively manages prospects by developing sound marketing plans and maintaining key information in the prospect database. Increase existing account revenue by assigned goals and meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales.Shows increased knowledge of potential customers, pricing and competition.Understands and effectively communicates district pricing and service strategies.Works with National Account and Regional Account Managers to identify and proactively market national and regional account opportunities.Effectively uses Waste Management sales tools. Acquires in-depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.Exhibits an increased understanding of appropriate local, state and federal regulations.Minimal travel required.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Applications.Performs other duties as required.
Minimum requirements are 2 years of business to business outside sales, bachelor?s degree for an accredited college/university. Or 7 years business to business sales experience in lieu of degree. This position offers a comprehensive benefit program that includes health, dental, life insurance, 401k, paid vacation and more.
