POSITION PURPOSE

Assist in the training of all new hire to ensure understanding of company policies and procedures, standard of conduct, basic sales techniques and HGVC product knowledge.


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

? Train and motivate Vacation Advisors to follow HGVC program methods and procedures. 

? Maintain an upbeat, positive and motivated demeanor especially when interacting with Hilton guests, coworkers, and management

? Train new sales vacation advisors on HGVC guidelines, package details, costs, premiums, scripts, accommodations, presenting timeshare tour, and using Teledirect.

? Develop and implement training systems and materials that will equip sales vacation advisors with tools to continuously improve sales and VPG.

? Look up tour and room availability

?Conduct and submit a minimum of 8 calls monitoring per week on new sales associates to help identify training and coaching opportunities.

?Report to immediate Supervisor any issues or concerns to determine best course of action.

?Complete and provide on a daily basis all required university sales production reports.

?Maintain university sales score board up to date and current to ensure university?s sales goals are being tracked (Training Supervisor will assist and evaluate as needed.)

?Assist Vacation Advisors with any questions, problems and/or additional training as needed to help maximize their closing ability by utilizing tools, resources and positive reinforcement.


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Must be detailed and possess excellent organizational skills

? Must possess the ability to develop and communicate unique ideas and concepts

? Timeshare experience

? Minimum 1 year experience in training

? Self starter, positive and team player with exceptional ability to motivate and coach others.

? High school diploma or equivalent GED
