Outside Industrial & Service Sales

CRANE AMERICA SERVICES a wholly owned subsidiary of Demag Crane and Components is seeking resumes from qualified candidates for an outside sales position for the Columbia, SC area.



Our business is overhead material handling, specializing in the needs of users of industrial overhead cranes and hoists. We provide new equipment, systems as well as equipment inspections, services and repairs to our customer base. The Territory Manager is responsible to maintain and grow business within the local market.



The Territory Manager will develop sales within their territory via cold calls, appointments and other account development techniques. This is a position that requires the ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of management and sales-oriented activities. A great amount of interaction with customers is required. The position reports to the local Division Manager.



Compensation potential including salary and commission is limited only by the ability to build relationships and sales. First year compensation for the average performer is expected to exceed $60,000. with base salary and commission.



We are open to an entry level sales candidate with relavant 4 year degree, the successful candidate will have the best combination of the following attributes:



? Highly motivated, fast paced, self starter

? Industrial sales and/or operational experience

? Mechanical Aptitude

? Construction subcontracting experience

? Ability to develop sales proposals

? Strong leadership and team building skills

? Good customer relationship and negotiation skills
