Central Wholesalers is a leading distributor of plumbing, electrical, & hardware supplies throughout the central east coast.  Since it?s conception in 1981, the company has become a major supplier in the metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Richmond.  The clientele of Central Wholesalers is vast, however the company sells primarily to property management firms, office and apartment buildings, hotels, and various government agencies.  In addition to distribution, Central Wholesalers manufactures a variety of quality products, including blinds, windows screens, and countertops.

Central is currently seeking Outside Sales Representatives for it's Maryland and Virginia markets.  Outside sales experience in a similar field is preferred.  The ideal candidate is a strong and competitive self-motivator who will represent the company in a personable and professional manner. Job duties include in person sales calls to clients, communication with current and prospective customers to generate sales, and submission of quotes and proposals.  Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and hardware supplies is a MUST. Candidate must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver?s license.  All sales positions enjoy a solid base salary, plus commission on total sales (stipend for mileage also included). 

 

Central also seeks Inside Sales/Counter Sales Reps for it's Laurel headquarters location.  Duties include dealing with customers both over the phone and in person at Central's sales counter. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service and/or sales, as well as a strong knowledge and interest in the home improvement (plumbing, electrical, hardware, etc.) industry. Experience is preferred but not required.  We will train the right candidate!
