About the Opportunity Working as a Outside Parts Sales Representative in the Transportation industry will give you the chance to spread your creative wings. We need a talented, aggressive individual who possesses the ability to "think outside the box"; a self-starter to fill the role of Outside Parts Sales Representative. In this position, you will be responsible to promote Western Pennsylvania's largest Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Parts Department's products and services; to identify market potential; initiate the sales process; expand sales in existing accounts; promote the department's products and services. Qualifications

A successful history of cultivating existing customers, as well as identifying new sources of business/revenue.

Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals.

Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

Proven track record of Superior Customer Service.

Industry knowledge AND experience.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification, Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification, Valid Driver's License

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or a miniumum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
