Outside Sales II

Outside Sales II Description: * Conduct on-site customer visits with new and existing customers, responsible for developing the data communications market including assisting other branches development.
* Forecast, prospect, and bid for new business: customers, markets, and additional service opportunities
* Maintain existing and build new customer partnerships teaming with outside sales and individually
* Conduct negotiations with suppliers, vendors and manufactures on projects and coordinate with Data Comm Marketing and local operations manager when needed.
* Partner with customers, vendors, Credit, and Accounts Receivables, to quickly resolve customer service issues.
* Work closely with inside sales to ensure customer deliveries are handled efficiently and effectively
* Identify customer product needs and coordinate execution of order to develop the quotation requested via telephone, e-mail, written, and faxed correspondence
* Assist with providing pricing and delivery information
* Perform follow-up on bids and jobs to maintain customer needs and relationship
* Monitor and assist purchasing to ensure proper inventory procurement and turns while determining needs for customer sales
* Position preferred vendor to facilitate growth of Data Comm market with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and End Users





Requirements:
* Product knowledge and application for Data Communications
* Point of sale system (i.e., Eclipse, not mandatory )
* Sales skills: Experience negotiating contracts, conducting sales calls, and closing the sale.
