Outside Sales Representative

Ryder provides leading-edge transportation, logistics, and supply chain management solutions worldwide.  Ryder?s Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) business segment combines several capabilities into a comprehensive package that provides one-stop outsourcing of the acquisition, maintenance, management and disposal of vehicles.  Ryder?s commercial rental service offers customers a method to expand their fleets in order to address specific or short-term capacity needs.

 

Ryder is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for sales/marketing of rental product line, account growth, retention and customer satisfaction. Duties of this position include focusing on procuring long-term rental business and converting new and existing rental accounts to lease. Will be required to improve return on assets and maintain revenue growth and profitability.

 

Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or equivalent job related experience preferred. Must have one year sales experience or equivalent sales training. Candidate with a working knowledge of leasing procedures (i.e. credit, payment terms, insurance coverage, etc.) preferred. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
