Company Description My client is a rapidly-growing health insurance brokerage that specializes in group employee benefits and HR solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. Voted two years running among the Best Places to Work by The Philadelphia Business Journal. The company is building on its success to expand its New Jersey and Pennsylvania operations into new Mid-Atlantic and North Eastern markets. As a privately owned entity that remains independent from insurance carriers and banks, the company serves as an objective advocate for its clients, negotiating with carriers and administrators to deliver benefits packages with preferential terms for employees.
Job Duties:
• Focal point for all sales and client contact, pre-sale.
• Responsible to establish and build strong, integrity based relationships with C-level managers for companies of 100+ employees throughout assigned geographic territory.
• Partners with Account Executives and Benefit Specialists in the strategy for preparation of presentation materials and analysis of those materials for potential clients.
• Partners with Account Executives in the presentation and ultimate sale of products and services to potential clients.
• Identifies new potential clients and develops a plan for converting them to new clients.
• Continually sources referrals for developing additional contacts and new business opportunities.
• Responsible to develop and maintain exceptional long-term relationships within our business community.

Required Job Skills:
• Insurance licensing in both health and life products
• Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Insurance industry and/or insurance brokerage experience a plus
• Knowledge of benefit plans and employee benefit terminology a plus
