Outside Territory Sales Representative

ABP is looking for focused and well-organized individuals to join our Outside Sales team selling Aftermarket Automotive Body Parts and Accessories. You will be part of a group of motivated professionals dedicated to expanding and supporting ABP?s sales' growth goals.

You must be comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, committed to gaining new clients, working in a sales' team environment, as well as providing leadership for developing junior sales' team members. You must also have demonstrated experience in prospecting and growing accounts and closing sales consistently over a sustained period of time.

Responsibilities:

 Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new merchant accounts. Pitching new business. Conducting smart industry research utilizing various resources (internet, publications, networking, referrals, etc.) Constantly thinking of creative ways to find potential clients. Meeting quarterly revenue targets. Determining training requirements for customers and other team members. Taking on additional projects to improve team efficiency. Becoming an expert on the Aftermarket Automotive Parts and Accessories industry.

 

Requirements: Associates degree, or equivalent experience Passionate about sales. A minimum of 2 years experience in selling direct business-to-business. Detail-oriented; ability to complete a large volume of work quickly. Some customer service/client service experience. Passionate about Custom automotive applications. Strong computer applications skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in e-commerce preferred, but not required.
